Dear subscribers, 💝💝
I wish you a wonderful 2025, full of happiness and artistic discoveries!
For this letter of the week, the first of the year (😉), I take you to one of the most fascinating cities in Italy, Florence , which I had the pleasure of visiting recently.
A real emotional and artistic shock, as art, culture and history meet on every street corner...
Florence is an open-air museum
THE Palazzo Pitti , a former royal residence, notably of the Grand Dukes of Tuscany, is full of absolutely dazzling treasures: fascinating for its grandeur and the richness of its collections.
The sumptuous rooms and works of art bear witness to the opulence and refined taste of the Medici.
All around, the Boboli Gardens are, in counterpoint, an oasis of serenity, also not to be missed.
TheUffizi Gallery , THE emblematic museum of Florence, another gem that deeply impressed me.
Home to the most beautiful masterpieces of the Renaissance, such as the immensely famous works of Botticelli, Raphael, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo... the place is a (magical!) journey through the history of art.
Of course, I couldn't miss the famous, iconic Statue of David by Michelangelo, exhibited in the Galleria dell'Accademia.
As the symbol of artistic perfection...
Beyond these masterpiece monuments, it is the general atmosphere of Florence which is seductive.
Quaint cobbled streets, bustling squares (Piazza della Signora!), colourful markets (Mercato centrale!) and welcoming cafés create a warm and inspiring atmosphere.
Florentine culture is imbued with a deep love for art, music and gastronomy, making every moment spent in this city unique and memorable.
Delighted to share with you some photos taken during this trip.
Hoping that they will transmit to you a little of the magic of Florence at the beginning of this year!
Please feel free to share your impressions with me. And share your own experiences if you have already visited this extraordinary city.
In the meantime, I wish you another year full of discoveries and artistic inspiration!
See you soon for new cultural adventures!
